In a one-day “deep dive” summit designed exclusively for clinical laboratory outreach professionals, Kirchberg will focus on how to integrate performance and insights to align the sales and operations teams within the clinical laboratory.  Operations teams often develop goals to control and reduce costs as well as drive efficiencies in the lab, while outreach sales teams focus on driving growth in new clients, retaining existing business, and building infrastructure to comprehensively meet the needs of the marketplace. His presentation will kick-off the agenda and will identify strategies and tools for maintaining smooth collaboration, facilitating efficient workflows, and implementing effective and sustainable cost-cutting strategies.

Kirchberg serves as the Vice President of Global Outreach for Accumen and leads the outreach function across the enterprise along with driving growth strategies for leading hospitals and health systems across the country.   For nearly three decades, Kirchberg has held positions of executive leadership in the diagnostic and medical device industry.  Prior to his current role, JD served in the role of VP of Business Development for five years through a partnership between Accumen and ACL Laboratories, one of the largest hospital system laboratories in the country serving both Advocate Health Care and Aurora Health Care. Prior to this experience, he spent 21 years at Quest Diagnostics in executive leadership roles, including Sales leadership, managed care, and strategic partnerships. JD holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Business from the University of Iowa.
